My bracelet fell behind the nightstand. So, when packing up to check out, I reached under the nightstand to grab it when my hand landed on something uncomfortably soft for being on the floor under a nightstand. I then looked under the nightstand to see a mouse trap, with a dead mouse trapped in it (I have several pictures). So my question is, is it your normal practice/policy to have active mouse traps set in rooms that customers are staying in? If there is a mouse problem in a room, causing the traps to be placed, why are customers being placed in this room? Not to mention, I touched the mouse that had been dead in this trap for who knows how long! Disgusting. Or, had the mouse not been trapped, my hand probably would have been. I had zero problems during my stay up until this incident just minutes before checking out. When checking out, I explained what had happened to the person working the front desk. She was not the least bit concerned, and didn't say anything about the matter other than "Thank you for letting us know". Although I didn't stand there, and scream and yell and throw a fit demanding for her to do something about it right then, I would expect this to be taken at least somewhat seriously and not just brushed off like it happens everyday.
We booked through Priceline. Because of that they bumped us to a run that did not meet our bedding needs. When we asked for a rollaway they wanted to charge us $10 more. That explained that it was because we did not book directly through them but instead you stay third-party service. Needless to say they lack in hospitality
The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was clean, made, and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Overall, things were great, for about 99% of our stay. The last 15 minutes or so is when things went downhill. Here's what happened:
Very nice hotel with modern decor. Comfortable king suites. Decent breakfast and very friendly staff. Next door to casino and right off Highway. Outdoor pool is a plus!
Service was great. Room was very clean. And the price was not too bad. Breakfast was also good.
